We drove out to my Mothers Place today to have the opportunity for the children to have some quality time with the Grandparents for Christmas....everything went fine....
UNTIL We are sitting around holding our guts and having some small talk when my Brother in Law asks what I've been doing lately.... . .. ... So I explain the Website and how it came to be, and what some of the Intentions of the MRT will be regarding better regulations and.... HE STANDS UP and says "I think there should be a ban on all outdoor activities for the next 10 years because the EARTH needs to heal" To which my Wife and I turn our heads to each other, and give the look of "What did he just say"?? at that point rather than ruin the entire wonderful night we were having with a heated discussion of the environment, she grabbed my crutches and we left the room for an "emergency drink" in the other room. I HAVE A GREENIE IN MY FAMILY..... Shoot me I'm in hell !!!!!!!, They have invaded my Family NNNnnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooo RP -------------------- |

Thunderation! :o
I too have had problems in our otherwise pristiene family... a cousin that decided she was a vegetarian.. But there is hope with de programming! I was after about 10 years of preaching and cajoling and telling her about evolution and why we have incisors and canine teeth... YES she finally has seen the light and eats BEEF! Just think of it as a poor lost soul who needs to come to Jesus! After all he's only an out-law... in-law... whatever... :P Happy Trails, Johnny Remember you can use your cane to kill snakes! |

I was driving home and thinking to myself "I sure am glad he has no friends, cuz if he did he would screw their brains up too" and then I thought "I'm glad he lives way out in the country".......
How much does an Exorcism cost?, Can they be Mail ordered?..... :D :D Who's got a saw, I'm cutting that family tree branch off right at the trunk.... ;) I'm going back to my mom's to slap her for allowing her daughter to marry a fool. -------------------- |

Yes it is true, There are greenies infiltraring the forums as I am one of them.
I love the trees, the fish, the wildlife....But I also know that this whole environmental movement is way out of hand. Period. We cannot save the forest by not managing them properly, we cannot save the salmon by throwing money at them and allowing foriegn fishing fleets to decimate what we have paid for, and allow predators to go unchecked. We cannot introduce wolves to areas where they will not be welcome and tell ranchers to deal with it, or put their way of life or children in Jeopardy. I do love nature as much as any of these greenies but to restrict or close areas based on junk science/spotted owl/3 legged turle or the theory of MAN IS BAD is just enough to make me want to fight them off with as much firepower as I can get my hands on. Right now that is the Internet.....and right now the greens are way out of control with everything being closed for any reason what so ever and that is wrong.... I'm some shade of green but my colors of RED WHITE and BLUE show up very well in any weather. RP -------------------- |

Dang Red paw and I thought I had seen it all in my family but I guess you got me beat and the best thing to do is take him out in the desert and give him a empty bottle and tell him to find water and you'll be back in an hr. Maybe ya better make sure its a hot day that way he either perishes with thirst or respects what we have alot better

Welcome to the Forums Pink,
The funny thing is, He is fascinated with gold prospectimg and every time I mention that I'm going out he states he wants to go. We all get ready and set a meet up time and guess who's a no show?.... This has happened for years, he even has done some research on it and can quote where gold is, till it comes time to get him outta the house. Oh well some people.... -------------------- |
