She's beautiful I agree, and looks like she still sports a nice "fuzzy super soft" outer layer. Softest slipper any man (or woman ) can feel on the toes, trust me I've recently got to test this myself......OH MY GAWD! IT'S SOOOOOOOOO SOFT!! She has most of her big girl teeth and they look too big for her mouth, kinda funny. I've had the pleasure of removing two fish hooks from her already, an unpleasant task. One was about 3 weeks ago on the river. She had somehow snagged her rear haunch on someone else' discarded or lost lure that still had heavy line attached to it. It was about a size #4 single hook hooked deep up to the curve, well past the barb. With the help of my friend we used the common loop & tug method which worked excellent. Not a yip out of her and it came out on the first try. The other incident happened this morning at Lake Granby and was far more scary. She was next to me fishing and I noticed her chewing oddly... then noticed fishing line coming out of her mouth. I pryed her mouth open and immediately saw a snelled bait hook (with Powerbait) impaled to the upper gum near her teeth. It was only 3 teeth away from being in her throat! Goddamn sloppy ass ~~half~~ drunk bait fishermen leaving their crap, bait containers, fishing line, and trash everywhere.... effin losers. We were the only one's there, all this crap was left by people. I have to wonder how many Foxes, birds, and other animals fare from their irresponsible actions. Sick. So I yelled to my friend and he came running with foreceps. I held her jaws open and he plucked that baby out promptly. Kevin is my taxidermist buddy so I knew he wouldn't squirm or hesitate. All is well... here's an updated pic of the little beast. Shedding now as evidenced by the rug.
