They came early and went fast this year. This pic is from the road in back of my place. Can see St Louis Creek below and the ski area in the background. Pretty soon it'll be all white (I prefer spring & summer). char060.gif sad.gif

We took a little hike from Elwood Pass offroad trail near Pagosa Springs to this little gem called Silver Falls.

Earlier this week we got snow up here. I took these two pics from my jobsite that morning... from above the clouds. cloud9.gif
Below those clouds is the Fraser Valley including the towns of Winter Park and Fraser, which you can normally see from there. Byers Peak stands tall in the background in the first pic and you can see the ski area in the second pic.
Living in Colorado never gets old for me, constantly awestruck by it's beauty.

This pic is from another of my projects I recently completed. Not necessarily "Beautiful Colorado" themed... but interesting because my work platform was the floating raft that I took the picture from (first mate, Timber on board). Floating on it was the only way to access my work, ladders, etc. Was challenging, fun, and rewarding.

worthy.gif Fantastic pictures Chris!! Good to see you enjoying the beauty this state has to offer even when working! That's a great place you are working on, especially on the water like that. You need to put Timber to work holding the ladder for you. giggle.gif She is such a beautiful wolfie. wub.gif

OK, my attempt at shooting the supermoon ended up just being shots of the Academy Chapel. Moonrise was clouded over, so I didn't get the huge moon on the horizon. Also didn't do a good job of scouting my location and ended up being too close to the Chapel, so I couldn't get a good zoom on the moon to make it look bigger in comparison to the foreground.
Sorry, you're stuck with me covering up for my stunningly mediocre shots with some HDR
