Ok lets make this the last one until next time, lets try for a 27 grammer, so I hope you all have enjoyed looking at some more Aussie Gold and may all your finds be gold.

Cheers,

Thanks for the pics Trev. I really did'nt expect to hear from you knowing your in the field playing. Now if I could talk you into sending me one of the uglier ones that I could try cabbing I'd be a happy clam.

Ok Here we go once again, I have just finished chatting with Denise and said I would place a pic of the gold that was found on our trip for 2007. cool.gif

I hope to add some pics along with a trip report latter. sad.gif

We never made our fortune but we did cover fuel cost with some left over.

Latter when I have cleaned these nuggets up with a bit of Hydrofluric acid I will post some individual pic's of the nuggets. biggrin.gif

This wont be for a couple of weeks yet, as our local doctor wants to see gold nuggets that haven't been cleaned, as he can't believe you can just dig up nuggets out of the ground and it looks like gold. ( Have I got news for him. laugh.gif

Cheers for now until the next Post. TWA ph34r.gif

Hey Corwall,

I will try again and see if this works.

Your request is my pleasure. tongue.gif

Aerial pic should have grid ref on bottom left of pic.

This will show you the location of our camp at Tamoola Station along with location of where a couple of nuggets were located.

Cheers.

Hey Cornwall.

If you go to Google Earth and follow the grid ref on the pic posted and then scroll Eastwards for about seven Klms it should reveal the open cut mine which is the Tamoola minesite.

Cheers.

G-day Cornwall,

The attached pic shows the camp we had south of 14 mile well along with grid ref of where gold was found wink.gif

Dont say I never told you where OK. mad.gif tongue.gif

If you start to save your pennies now you may save enough to get a plane ticket over to here and find your own gold. biggrin.gif

This area is located mid way between Leonora and Laverton south along the old Haul Road.

Cheers,

Hi Trevor, laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif You must be the only prospector in the world to give out info like that on the net.( too much sun maybe ) laugh.gif laugh.gif Thank you very much, all that and for a pom too.
That looks likea great area biggrin.gif , pennies are in very short supply at the moment so no chance of going to W.A in the near future sad.gif sad.gif .
You have brightened up a very dreary saturday morning here in London for me sitting here laughing to myself ( my wife thinks that i am nuts maybe she is right laugh.gif )

G-day again pommy Cornwall, wink.gif

Hey no problems mate, and its not due to too much sun. cool.gif

Not taking into consideration re the other states of Australia but just here in Western Australia, as long as my arse points to the ground, rolleyes.gif and if I was given a thousand lifetimes, laugh.gif there is no way I could effectivly cover all the gold bearing country that is available over here. sad.gif

So if what I have posted gives anyone a half chance of finding their own bit of yellow so be it. biggrin.gif

And like the aussie add says:(If you never never go, You will never never know).

Cheers,

Hi Denise,

Here are a few that have been cleaned in acid since the last time they were posted.

The larger ones still have some jasper imbeded in them so they are still in the acid.

Once they have been cleaned and the embeded rubble removed I shall add them to this page. biggrin.gif

Cheers,

G-day Dan & Denise,

Seeing as I'm in a posting mood I might as well include a couple of nugget earings I just made last week for a friend, but she happened to choose otherwise. mad.gif

1 set is 1.27 grms, the other 1.50 grams. I guess you could say Colorado size nuggets. tongue.gif

Cheers,
