This is my new mining partner and sweeheart - 'Timber'.
 Caveman and his wife Karen had a lot to do with this hook-up and I am very grateful.  Timberwolf/Alaskan Malamute hybrid. I got approved from the rescue a couple of weeks ago and picked/named her then. She will still be at the rescue shelter for about another month with Mom & Dad and ready for me on the 18th of Jan. I am counting the days!!! She's only about a month old in these pics they sent me today. Expect to see a lot of her at the mine this year!!!! She's got a bad case of the cute. I'm walking her several times a day now... long walks and can't get more than a block until someone pulls over or comes out of their house.
 Excellent walker too, she stays right at my heels and never tries to lead. I'm like a mother Goose right now, it's pretty funny. I let her do a lot of side exploring along the way... she's collecting data. We look at the Horses every day too cuz I can't have her being freaky around Horses when she gets big. That's a death sentence up here. Using a doggie harness and 16ft Flexi-Leash which is an outstanding combo. She's good with it!

I shot a quick 2-3 minute smartphone vid of Timber playing with the neighbor's dog. He comes over for about an hour to wear her out.... but he ends up getting worn out first, lol. It's really good entertainment for me. Anyway, here's a couple minutes of puppies playing which is guaranteed to make you smile.

Timber is doing great and continues to grow daily. She'll be three months old tomorrow! We've been winter flyfishing twice so far and today was our third ice fishing trip. She's well designed for my winter excursions.
