Can you guys post some shots of the inside, front of those sluices? I want to see how it seals the sluice to flair bottom, sides, and corners.

Thanks,

Hello Tanqd my flair butts up to the sluice theres 3 bolts across the bottom a bolt at top left and a blolt top right and all are 1/4" bolts with locking nylon nuts on the other end of the flair theres a single bolt and nut that bolts to the dredge frame.
i only put it together once a year well barring any unforseen brake downs so when i put it together i run a beed of silicone around the flair end hope this helps smile.gif

Hi, Gat nice dredge. I was wondering about the airline comming form your ss air tank to the end of your flair. Is it attached to the flair or is it just that way in the photo. I can see it in the 7th photo you posted of your new dredge. Just wondering whats up, air injector?

Hi Machineman,

Think Gat has lost track of the "reply" button..... laugh.gif
Or more than likely he's out working a claim and maybe a bit before he replies.

At anyrate.....looking at the pics and knowing Gat myself, That is the divers air line I think and that is just where it's unhooked and tied off for transport. biggrin.gif

Way to go Gat! One sweet looking dredge. When you put yours up for sale remember me. I just sold my 8" precission and I miss it already. I basically gave it away for $4,500. It had a volks engine and a spare plus the Precission pump and two spares. It was built like a tank and worked twice as hard as any other dredge on the river. I just ran out of youth. LOL

The owner of Precission dredge company Jim Harrand retired. He works from his home shop now and said if someone needs a pump rebuilt, it would be OK to call. I hope he's still doing it, he's one nice guy. Hope it helps those that still use precission.

Anyway best of luck and enjoy it. It will still be there when you get ready to give it to your kids or your great grand children.
