Thanks Russ, Mark did do a good job on it! Maybe someday I will have the tiny dino bone heart I made set into a ring like Dan's.

I absolutely love gembone! I've found a really nice specimen north of Canon city. On some areas is almost translucent. It illuminates in a short wave black light. Love the photos, thank you for sharing.

Wow those are some nice pieces of Dino Bone! You can really see the definition in the cells. Fun stuff to polish. I found a chunk at a rock show for cheap and thought why not. Not as crazy cool as your piece.. but still pretty cool. :^)
