Any interest out there for a multi-day backcountry prospecting trip this summer? Backpacking or horses if an outfitter can be found... thinking about National Forest somewhere in the Como, Fairplay, Alma, Breck area... I'd like to find a good route for prospecting and fly fishing... Any suggestions would be appreciated. If there's interest we'll work on the details... Thanks and regards...

landcrawler,

New to the forum, in fact I just joined today.

It looks like we share the same two hobbies. Prospecting and fly fishing. Did you make contact with Ruby about about an outing as he/she has horses? Since I retired, I am able to get out for a week or two as long as I have time to plan a house sitter. Let me know if you plan a trip late this summer or early fall.

Hi h20prospector,

Welcome to the ColoradoProspector forums and website.
If you like prospecting and fishing then you definately found the right website. happy088.gif Make yourself right at home browsing the entire website, we all look forward to your future participation.

Not sure about landcrawler or ruby, have not seen either around here for quite a long time.

Good luck on the prospecting and finding a buddy to go out with.
