Teaching the Cub Scouts how to pan and a little about Colorados history.

This was a great day! We had an excelent time with the kids! There were over 90 of them. They were really excited to learn how to pan for gold. Some of the troop leaders were even interested. All the kids also got to take home a piece of gold ore from the Phoenix Gold Mine that we had. Funny though, they all still wanted the gold painted split shot that they panned out....hehe
