Only a 50% chance tomorrow... high of 40-50; think I'll head that way. Which side of the creek did y'all work? My back is tweaking today, so I didn't make it to CC. I did set up my stuff here yesterday to run 5 buckets of material from Swizz's claim I got last Oct, so I'll blue bowl it today instead -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

Weather is looking a little rough at this point for the weekend. Looks like land research and/or blue bowling in my living room is my Saturday mining activity this week. Anyone going out this weekend?

Anyone going out this weekend? Unless things change, looks like a crappy weather weekend, so I probably won't be out. -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

On the website http://www.cotrip.org/ there are links to CDOT cameras. There is one in the pullout that looks east and you can see the creek. It's a good check to see current weather conditions and how
high the creek is flowing. |

Here's the view of the parking area and creek. -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

Running a teaspoon of +50 concentrate on the miller table. Lots of nice color in it.

Weather looks like crap through late next week... and I'm gonna be out of town Wed-Mon or Tue :(
https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Black+...k+CO+80422:4:US I imagine this latest few days of snow will definitely bring the creek up. -------------------- Find Colorado Prospector on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/170314493176558

Had a few hours yesterday before work and ran 6 half inch classified buckets. Panned about 1/3 of the +50 concentrates. Looks promising for 6 buckets.

My AM dredge has shipped from Canada, eh! The pump from HF and hoses/camlocks from Central state are sitting in my garage; I'm hoping to test it out on CC soon. I'd like to go do some digging this weekend, but it's not looking good. I'm glad J is able to work what we dug up....I've got unworked cons still from the last three outings. Those pics are very encouraging!
The search for a new vehicle is in full swing now. I checked out a badass Jeep Unlimited X model this week, but I want more storage room that's not on top. I've got my eyes set on a Tacoma or other suitable light pickup with good clearance. If you have any good leads, feel free to send them my way. I'm ditching the beemer, so this needs to be a daily driver. -------------------- Lifetime Member

I might try and get down there on Saturday and dodge the T storms.

Here is the gold from 6 buckets I ran about 10 days ago. Not too shabby for 6 buckets.
