Below this paragraph is a message I posted on toms forum. But I am adding this first paragraph here on the Other forums which won't filter good old honesty. Dave since the snowy plover thing i got 3 phone calls in regaurds to the curiosity of mining the beach. I responded with good results. Lets hope this one isn't taken off of toms forum. But who knows. He didn't agree with us doing the snowy plover deal anyway... all i can say is dumbazz. Well it says it below. They all have the Minersresponseteam.org website and are now going to construct their own devices. Maybe i started a new gold rush in the central oregon coast.

Back in march a little fiasco was going on with the snowy plover. Shoved under the carpet for so long untill it was raised to the attention of many people and they fought against it in numbers.
I can say i was proud to be there fighting on those days. In that process i met a few people who were wondering... "Why are miners are biggest supporters?"

Everybody knew it was us gold miners that brought up the issue. Work mostly done by one man in particular.

Well. Now because of this work and the knowing of miners help we are getting support from people in Pacific city and Tillamook. Even people who heard here in eastern oregon where i now reside.

I took in 2 days... 14 people out to the beaches out in pacific city and the people in tillamook out to netarts. I quickly rigged up a small long black matt sluice with magnets across the bottem in teirs and got my Butt out the 290 miles (one way) it is for me to the beach to show these people to gold mine on the beach. We did it in an area of low tide... then we ate during the high tide... and they SAW... there was absoulutely no damage... many of them mentioned the Humungous sand castles on the beach in Cannon Beach being a lot more then what we did. And they all got to take home a little DWT vial home with some gold off of their own beach.

Please do your part. A lot of the time who i thought were men on here act younger then I am. I want to be doing this till I am old. I want to be the future Hoser John who knows so much and done this a long time to spread the knowledge of his around.

I just have been getting dissapointed in the conflicts between groups. Its like there's 2 miners parties now... who are you for? Them or us. Well i guess that would make me an Independent in a sense.

Just do some work guys. I'm planning on hopefully taking a group of boyscouts out dredgeing here soon if i get a day off between my 84 hour work weeks. Its tough seeing the ones i respect all like this. I have looked up to all of you guys. Now it seems i'm looking down.

Finally to sum this up, take 1 day with some people.. even if its only 1. Its my effort all the time to do this. I have taken environmentalist out to rivers where dredgeing is done... captured the video underwater of fish feeding off what we're doing. Showing them the difference in size of fish on rivers that are dredged. Like the umpqua and rouge. Then took them to the bagby fork and asked them... will winter high waters erase this PERMINATE alterations of cables and ties?

Please guys help the fight don't bring it between each other.

Your friend in mining,

Justin,
I fully understand how and what you have said, and I know why you said what you did because it is embarrassing to the community and a little underwear hanging out to dry in the backyard sometimes needs to be called attention to.

All we did was try to get information out to the community of miners, along the same line of the Plover Fiasco ( which is about to raise its ugly head again when they publish the public comments that we have pictures of ) and we were attacked for supposedly lying to the miners and posting bad information.

now that all has been said, it is heartening to look back at what was said and find the other side is saying the same thing we were and publishing the info as their work...We didn't start the mudslinging, we started the call to arms and the ones who should have allied with us felt it was in their best interest to stop us from helping others learn about what is happening and filter the information through them....WHY????.

We have always said, Call around and Ask Questions ( heck we'll even supply the contact names, and phone numbers )

I'm proud to know you Justin, just like I'm proud to know alot of people I've been in touch with over the many decades of mining and your actions of involving others and showing them a great time in the woods against what they were taught from the tv/newspaper/radio/ is a good thing that will need to be done much more in the coming years.

The MRT is all about what your doing, The MRT is a thought process, The MRT is a belief in others, The MRT is the right thing to do, when the right thing needs to be done.

Keep up the good work Justin, We are proud of you and glad to hear your back to work and helping others when your free.

Join ya soon,
