I thought folks might enjoy seeing these as not many cabachons are cut from rhodochrosite. It is a very soft material (calcite) but boy is it pretty polished out.
This oval set I finished last month go together nicely with the larger pendant stone being 30 x 22 mm and 8 mm thick (30.5 carats) and the smaller ring size oval 11 x 9 mm and 4 mm thick (4.5 carats) They also have the rolling sheen in hand that really makes them sparkle in the sun. ![]() ![]() back side of the pendant stone also polished. ![]() -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator
