Close, but no it's not 2 trees growing together. Good guess though.

I had a chance to climb an active volcano when I was in Guatemala a few years back. Here is a lava flow I was able to get within 8 Ft of before my face started melting off. the Stuff flowed slowly like red hot cookie dough..... it was incredible and humbling to see stone being created right before my eyes.

Here is another. Sidenote: about 11 months after this pic was taken the Volcano decided to blow its top and where I was standing is now spread over 100 square miles of the Guatemalan landscape. I guess timing is everything !!

It looks like a rough piece of cedar? That would make a great PC wallpaper. happy088.gif
You have a good eye for photography D. That's what I would consider an excellent 'texture' pic. Could be matted and framed... or printed on foam board.
I like it!

Funny you said that abot it making a good PC wallpaper.......that is exactly what I did with it after tagging it. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Here is a closeup picture of the bark from the same piece. I love how it looks when it starts to twist and split for a limb. happy.gif This view is turned to show how it was growing.

Wood.........Love it!!
