Temp dropped 20° and the fog rolled in Sunday afternoon

We made some pretty good progress on the hole over the weekend!

Excellent trip reports and pics folks just awesome! What a weekend, and very sweet garnet contest Swizz, nice prizes you had for that also and congrats to the winners too! thumbsupsmileyanim.gif Those of us who didn't make this one will sure have to try hard for the next, what a great time!! happy070.gif
I see you had a full gambit of weather over the weekend along with all that great grub! Personally I really like it when the fog rolls onto the mountain like that. Glad to see it didn't put the spoilers on for too long though.

How cool is that too see the passing of knowledge from the older generations to the new? KUDOS CHRIS! As always, he's a super host at his claim and always friendly to visitors who may stop by. CP_Member.gif

Yep Denise I think you're right Jason does look a lot like Zac Brown in that picture. music030.gif

We're all looking forward to clean up pics to come as well, thanks for sharing your pics and reports everyone!

His beard is prettier. His says, "Pay me millions and let me sing with Jimmy Buffett."

Mine says, "I belong in the mountains." That, or "Why do I always lose my razors?"

Got my truck/trailer home yesterday, so I finally got to start panning my cons.

Got 4 bits off the 20 mesh, 5 off the 30 mesh, more than 20 off the 50 mesh (pic). And the garnets off the 18 mesh. Got some in the 100 mesh, will finish that and check the -100 this evening and post pics of all of it. Got more this weekend running the highbanker than I got the previous 2 trips combined! thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Will get them this evening. With the one I picked out of the sluice, I should have 10 decent bits and there was more in the 100 mesh; just working the black sand out. Haven't checked the -100 yet.

Saving all the cons and will reclassify them and finally try out my blue bowl soon.
