I'm going to take a very uneducated guess on the first one. From another thread on here, my guess on the first one is kimberlite. What do I win?

Nice specimen Jack,

It's really hard to tell from the pic, but it apears to be part of a Quartz vien.
Is there some Gold in there?

thats my guess and im sticking to it, the second picture does look like a serpanized kimberlite.
I found this picture and its comparable with my guess, which would be Quartz Vien with Visible-Gold, this pic's not mine but Id imagine yours would look the same if it were cut
