Thanks! That is a good looking place there.No panning is even allowed...but I would sure like to dredge that area.
Bedrock is shallow.Old bedrock is exposed and has crevices everywhere. Now,even though no panning is allowed,what if ones wife loses something so we dig up a few buckets of material trying to find it? LOL Should have seen me turning rocks with my pick while looking over my shoulder! The piece of gold came from another property down from this. The samples here seemed to have a little floating gold in my pans.I am going to add a little soap and run through them again. |
