We just received this picture and info from Jim about the Marion shovel.
Not sure yet if there is an ongoing preservation project for it or not. Details to follow soon. Very cool pic to share with everyone! Thanks Jim! CP QUOTE The attachment is a photo of a Marion shovel that was used in the construction of the River Junction of the ERIE Railroad, near Rossburg New York. Track was laid across the Genesee River and up a grade to an elevation of about 150 feet above the river.

Hi Dan, I sure hope that this gets saved, its a pity that they cant get it working it would soon pay back any preservation costs.
