Nature close up, What did you see out there?

Hey everyone,

Thought it would be good to have a thread for any nature pictures of close up small things you found on your adventures.

Here is one to start it off that I shot recently.
I know Denise just love's the flowers so the first one is for her. Hibiscuss flower nearly 12" across

Great idea for a photography thread Dan! Thats one big beautiful flower. happy.gif
Maybe some of the flowers are that big because big things might want to smell them?....hehe

Thanks Alan! smile.gif Yummmm, out collecting blueberries eh? With all the moisture Colorado has received this year, the berries here havent been as plentyful so I left them for the critters. biggrin.gif Thats a beautiful flower! Thanks for sharing the pic with us! I can almost smell the flowers and the blueberries. cool.gif

Here is one I saw while out exploring. Hard to believe the beaver even tried for this one! Bet his jaw and teeth were tired after that attempt. bash.gif
