Mineral specimen lot #1
(Seasonal Drawing 9/22/16 treasure picked by Renee in Missouri ) A beautifully white and sparkly clean microcline/albite in combination with smokey quartz crystals all around (shown center right in picture) is the show piece of this lot. Size of the show piece is a miniature at just under 2.5" and is a micromount delight! Also included for this lot, another smokey quartz crystal that at first glance appears to be broken which it was.....but mother nature has tried to fix the broken end over time and the broken end now has been "mended" naturally with many small terminations. The other pieces are, geothite (micromount), a nice pale amazonite crystal with good form, a pseudomorph hematite after siderite (awesome sheen and form), and another light tan colored microcline/albite formation with awesome shape and sheen too! ![]() ___________________________________________________________________ -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator

Thought this would be a cool one for someone who wants to cut their own thundereggs and get that first look for themselves. 6 Oregon t-egg doublets. I've marked them for the orientation I would cut them but you cut them how ya' like. We've been cutting up some of these recently and our ratio for good ones is outstanding! Better than half are just awesome.....probably close to 75% good ones. So you can expect at least 4 killer little doublers! ![]() Have fun cutting and polishing these little guys.....all are about 2 inch x 2.5 inch or so. We want to see the finished pictures in the forum too! ![]() ![]() Chosen for winter 13' seasonal drawing prize - Tony in Michigan 3/20/14 Sweet choice Bones! I have been wondering what is inside those Thunder egg doublets for some time now. ![]() -------------------- Education is the key to the future,

Our Boulder Opal heart pendant arrived today and we all love it! I'm already wearing it and if I fall asleep on the couch I'll need to sleep with one eye open, gripping my neck tight because our Mini Miner wants it too!
![]() I took some pictures of it but the ones already posted here turned out much better. Gee, I'm going to "hate" getting more photography practice on pretty little things! ![]() Thank you again to Denise and Dan and the generous donations of other Club Members! ![]() -------------------- Cara T. aka Cloudy Kitty
