Hey everyone,
Thought it would be good to have a thread for any nature pictures of close up small things you found on your adventures.  Flowers, animals, minerals whatever......if you found it outdoors in nature's tiny world, this is the perfect thread to share it in.  Post em' up!Here is one to start it off that I shot recently. Cool pictures, the one of the flower pod almost looked like a spider standing there!
  I'm thinking the one your asking about is a mushroom?

That's a nice set of pics! I like the vivid colors.... and I like the crab looking thingy, funny.

I would agree with swizzle stick on the fungii. The crab looking thing looks like a blown out ans dead dandy lion seed pod?

I'm gunna wait on telling you(s) what it is... see if more people have a guess. The spider looking thing is actually a dried up mushroom... still in ground, but I noticed it along with the popcorn shroom. They were growing close to each other in the middle of a pathway I have in my backyard garden.

 I do understand the wanting spring feeling already though.......this is the only green we see now other than the stray pieces of Epidote on the ground.

Fantastic pictures Mike! You definitely have a good eye for photography.
Here is a picture of the first Lilac flower from our property. It has fully bloomed now and smells great!!
