Figured out now...Here are a few pics of some beryl I dug from the peg at the Hogg mine on Nov. 1 and two weeks after.. These first two are of a beryl still stuck in kaolin. It's glassy and fractured and the kaolin is decomposed so I had to use a mixture of elmers glue and water to secure the beryl and clay. Thanks Dan for showing me how to post pics.
A few crystals you can tell size by the bricks they are on. You can find blue, green, and yellow/golden. If you are lucky then you can find much facet aqua. Here is a table full of beryl from there. Notice the big one in the back right. and here is one with a facetable stone in the center. I used a friends method of lighting behind to show it. Sorry about the yellow haze -------------------- Amethystguy cometh and the amethystguy taketh away

Wow! Yep that zoisite is definately blue. Nice one. Like the aqua too.
![]() Is that zoisite a natural color or? Sure is pretty, should make a spiffy faceted stone someday? Thanks for sharing the pics. CP -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator
