I've been hiking in the Cheyenne Mountain State Park recently. On Friday I took some pictures of trees that just don't care what gets in their way.
Board Tree Boulder Tree Cable Tree I'm not sure when the Board and Cable were attached to their trees because they were in an area that was used as a ranch from the late 1800's up until 1961 when NORAD moved in. One would think that they couldn't last from the 1800's, but I did discover a LOT of rusty square nails in the same area. My research shows that square nails faded from the scene around 1910. So, how long have those trees been around? Good question. -------------------- I'm never lost. I'm always directly above the center of the Earth.

![]() ![]() Seems like it can be limitless as to how/where they grow. Here is a shot of one of our yard ornaments. This one was too cool to not load up as is and bring home to "replant" ![]() This is a close up I took of it last month.... -------------------- Education is the key to the future,
