Thought it would be good to have a thread for any nature pictures of close up small things you found on your adventures. ![]() ![]() Here is one to start it off that I shot recently. A "what" cricket? Nah, looks to me like a tater bug. Watch out though, their bites can be nasty. Not poisonous, but they have mighty strong jaws so they can eat all them taters.
The fun part is watching the tater bugs get into fights. They throw taters at each other. (or so my granddaddy said) -------------------- Today's socio-political climate is rock solid proof that Adam and Eve weren't prospectors.
If they were they'd have eaten the snake instead of the apple and we'd still be in heaven.... |
