Hey everyone,
Thought it would be good to have a thread for any nature pictures of close up small things you found on your adventures. Flowers, animals, minerals whatever......if you found it outdoors in nature's tiny world, this is the perfect thread to share it in. Post em' up! Here is one to start it off that I shot recently. I know Denise just love's the flowers so the first one is for her. Hibiscuss flower nearly 12" across -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator

swizz, Is that a small pothole in that boulder? ASTROBLEME It is indeed. Unfortunately, it's not in a stream or locale that is known for gold deposits. I took that pic while I was on a flyfishing trip. It was also taken prior to my pursuit of prospecting and small scale mining. They aren't nearly the size of the ones in your thread. In hindsight... and looking at that image, I think I may go back and scoop them out just for grins. Could be some interesting stuff in the samples. There are several other huge boulders in that stretch with carved potholes (one is visible in the background with exposed pothole). hmmmmm -------------------- /l ,[____], l---L-OlllllllO- ()_) ()_)--o-)_) BLACK SANDS MATTER!
