Mineral specimen lot #1
(Seasonal Drawing 9/22/16 treasure picked by Renee in Missouri ) A beautifully white and sparkly clean microcline/albite in combination with smokey quartz crystals all around (shown center right in picture) is the show piece of this lot. Size of the show piece is a miniature at just under 2.5" and is a micromount delight! Also included for this lot, another smokey quartz crystal that at first glance appears to be broken which it was.....but mother nature has tried to fix the broken end over time and the broken end now has been "mended" naturally with many small terminations. The other pieces are, geothite (micromount), a nice pale amazonite crystal with good form, a pseudomorph hematite after siderite (awesome sheen and form), and another light tan colored microcline/albite formation with awesome shape and sheen too! ___________________________________________________________________ -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator

These items have either been picked by CP prize winners from drawings, site contest prizes, CP members Geocache finders prizes or given to someone with love from us.
______________________________ 30 item grab box rough lot - 13.5 lbs in total for your lapidary work. Rough pieces: Jade - black, dark green Approx: 1.75 lbs (5 pieces) Origin - Wyoming, from the original discoverer of jade in Wyoming (my grandfather) Lloyd and his partner. These pieces come from my grandpa's personal stash of his original claim in the mid 30's begining the Wyoming "jade rush". He sold a large piece (2400 lbs) of "imperial" green to be used in carvings for the emporer of Japan from this same claim according to the family folklore. Also included in this lot are 4 Del Norte Colorado agate/chalcedony pieces, 2 Arizona petrified wood, another tan petrified wood (unknown origin) which is opalized, 3 pieces Az. fire agate, 1 malachite/azurite, 7 misc. varied colors of chalcedony pieces, 6 cut slabs (two green moss agate, one Az. yellow petrified wood, one brown/black petrified wood from Eden valley Wyoming, one orange/brown petrified wood from South Park Colorado) and finally to finish the rough lapidary lot, a 2 lb bag of Arizona petrified wood/chaceldony's for tumbling.
