Not really "wildlife"... just Honey Boo Boo feeding the Horses some carrots from the back yard and I thought it made for a couple of good pics.

This one could have gone in the "What Were They Thinking?" thread too...
These pics are from my ex girlfriend on the other side of town.
The story: Two cubs trapped themselves in the dumpster and were making a lot of noise crying for mom. Jane called DOW but they never responded so she got the neighbor to bravely sneak over to the dumpster and open the door so they could get out. Meanwhile... mama Bear (a relatively small one) was off to the side and being distracted by some idiot's loose dog.... who's lucky to be alive. She's poised to charge in that photo, the dog would not stand a chance. All in all the story had a happy ending with the mama and cubs sauntering away for another misadventure. If ya look close in the first pic you can see one of the cubs poking it's head out of the dumpster. The other cub is walking away. Hey - good for them, they're gonna need all the help they can get this winter with the bad summer we just had.

Here is a picture of a buck we drove up on. He was so into looking at the lovely ladies that he didn't hear us drive up.....untill I rolled my window down. Made the hair stand up on his rump. laugh.gif

This was on of the little ladies he was watching. Note how she is sticking her tongue out at me. biggrin.gif

Here is a video of a cool bird hunting. It looks like it uses it's wings to make shadows causing the bugs to move so it can see them? confused0082[1].gif

I went prospecting with sunspirit today and had a fun time (we got some yeller too!). emoticon-misc-004.gif

While I was waiting for sunpirit this morning I had this young Moose wander up fairly close, then scamper up the hill and graze for a while.

giggle.gif Timmy saw it again and said "didn't you and dad use to take care of wounded wildlife, fix them and release them? Maybe we counld bring it in and help it".

I told him " the cat would pretend to be the nurse, take one look at it and decide it needs to be put out of it's missery...and quick!". laugh.gif
Looks like the ear has been like that for a long time, what am I suppose to do, catch it and sew its ear back together? confused0082[1].gif

Not!
