im not exactly how old this one is but is definatley from the 1920's it says "House Of Stathopoulo inc. Long Island City" , thats all I know LOL
this one has a star and small slightly sparkly inlay on the face side neck, and nothing on back , it has a butterfly engraving on the tail piece holding the strings , may help tracking down how old this one is

all I know is " house of stathopoulo inc" changed over to Epiphone in 1928 and i believe this was manufactured between 1923 and 1928

I thought it'd be neat to share this with you all , heres some pics I just snapped...

I was Epiphone.com where they had a simmiliar but different one online , I believe they built every Banjo custom or different than the next??? anyone know??? http://www.epiphone.com/thevintagecollection/vintage2.html I also found a famous Quote "good musical insturments dont just happen" Epi Stathapoulo 1928

really nice wood , weyre thinking abot cleaning it up and adden a few more pictures just not sure the best way to clean it up and or wax it
i was thinking a soft cloth with carnuba?
any ideas?
Anyone Else Have One Of These?? even newer-older ? any pics for me to compare for a pre Epi Banjo?
