Sorry to hear you had to go through that, but I'm glad you weathered the storm well. Best wishes to you and yours recovering successfully!
That's sad you lost that many trees; hopefully you're able to turn that lemon into lemonade somehow. Can you sell it for lumber, firewood, large carvings, etc.?
Thank you!
I've got two cords of wood cut and stacked for the fireplace and for campfires, another couple cords cut and piled around the base of several trees that I haven't gotten around to stacking yet- Been pretty busy over at my son's house trying to help him get things secure and moved out of his house. I don't think I'd have much luck selling this wood right now, because there's people with entire trees still laying in their yards and others who have cut it up in smaller pieces and stacked it by the road to just be hauled off. There are literally TRUCKLOADS of wood that are cut into fireplace size logs and stacked by the roadside just waiting to hauled off to a "dump area." I hate to see so many people just wasting this wood, but right now I don't have the energy to haul it home. As for wood sculpting... I WISH I had that kind of talent! I wish I knew how to put pictures on here... I'd show y'all how much wood is being wasted.
