I'm headed up to a family reunion thing next week (7/27 - 8/1) in Buena Vista .
Desperately want to get the pans wet. does any one have a claim in the area I could visit with my son ?
otherwise we'll just stop @ point bar and dig around.
Thought about Cache Creek , But I can't tell if they require a permit or not ,or where to obtain one.
So I thought I'd ask and see if anyone had a private claim to mess around on.

You should be ok at Cache creek or Point Bar, no permits needed either place for panning and sluicing.
