Here's a close-up of a nice Lazulite specimen a friend gave to me. It's only about 1/2 cm in size but makes up for that in color. This specimen came from Madagascar.

Normal lighting. I don't think that a UV would do anything for it, not a fluorescent mineral to my knowledge.
