Has anyone sent in any specimens for identification?

Any problems? Comments?

I have not sent any minerals to them. I did try to take some minerals to the Colorado School of Mines Museum. But their "resident geologist" was not there at the time, and the students at the counter were nice, but not very helpful. The CSM museum has free mineral I.D. on Tues. and Thur. 10:00 am to Noon. Because of the short window, I have not been able to bring my minerals back. If nothing else there is free mineral I.D. at the Gem shows coming up in September.
