Mostly cause they're from my hometown in North Cali - they played at my older brothers highschool (while he was there) before they got big... Lets start with the classics-

OK... wait a min, it's my top choice of bands, but through the years I've grown to love old timey folk/bluegrass... like Woody Guthrie, Bill Monroe, Stanley Brothers, various other old school bluegrass bands - Just love the sound of it. My music is sooooo friggin diverse - it's scary when I look through everything.. Never been a big fan of screamcore or heavy, HEAVY, metal... had a punk phase, been there done that... But the past... oh hell... uhhh, 12 years, I've been stuck in a folk/bluegrass mood.

Primus jams!! We didn't have a thread for them but there are several of their songs in other threads. happy088.gif

Songs in order as you posted them....
1. My Name is Mud (one of my favorite Primus songs)
2. Tommy The Cat
3. Mr. Krinkle
4. Wynona's Big Brown Beaver (funny as heck)

Hmmm... I may have to think up a really good Primus trivia question and give away a bottle of my prized Claypool Cellars Pink Platypus Rose'! Or, even better, I'll bet Mrs CP can come up with a great gem or mineral question...maybe a membership incentive...? (Sorry, "What is my cat's name?" is a little too obvious.)

My husband and I made a special sidetrip to the "Fancy Booze Caboose" in Sebastopol last year... we were having lunch in a little cafe next door when Les walked in the door! Unfortunately, he left the building before we got over to the caboose - but we did get an autographed bottle of Purple Pachyderm Pinot! Yum! thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
