Hi Guys,
I will be making my annual trip to Colorado this summer, and I was looking for some advice on a few things from people with experience. I plan on making my first trip to North Table Mountain this summer for zeolite. Is the fastest way to get to the eastern quarry, to park in the parking area on the side closest to the Coors plant then walk down along the highway then up or is it too steep? From some posts here, and from others, I hear people having to go to the top, walk across then down to get to the open area of material. Others say they park then work there way up, but they don't say where they park. Some friendly advice about what the area is like would be nice, Google maps only shows so much.
My second question is, are there any open public areas in Devils Head or Lake George to look around on, I am not up there long enough to have a claim, and I am extremely paranoid about getting onto someone else's claim, so I figured I would ask just in case anyone knew of such magical places.
Hopefully I can get together with woody this year for a trip, I wont be there for 4 more months but I am already getting excited.
Thanks for the advice, I look forward to hearing from you guys!
Stay safe and have fun
