This is a vid of a short ride I took on a section of Stillwater Pass about 1 mile above Vagabond Ranch.
I was driving the sled with one hand and holding my cam with the left... so kinda tricky.
Come along for a short ride

Here is a much longer and probably boring ride.
In this vid I am again driving with one hand and holding the cam (Samsung Note 3) up with my left. I have a passenger on the snowmobile and am towing a sled of cargo.
Toward the end of the ride it gets better... when I catch up to and pass the snowshoe and skier group... after that I'm breaking trail and shot some of the ranch buildings when I finally arrived. The last cabin in the vid is where I stay. I did all of the chinking restoration on the structures. I should have done the grand tour as there are a couple more branches of the ranch but I had a passenger on back and wanted to get her to her cabin. I couldn't see what I was filming, just holding it up and panning as I rode.
I shot this for my parents in MI so they could get an idea as to my ranch commute (on a good day).
anyway, iffn yer bored..... Ride from HWY125 Parking Lot To The Ranch!

Looks like a blast Chris!! I definitely miss playing in the snow, snowmobiling, snowboarding or just hiking in the deep snow. You should try strapping it to your head gear so you can have your hands free to punch it and let that bad boy rip over that mountain. laugh.gif Great winter wonderland to snowmobile in, thanks for letting us ride along! happy.gif

Thanks! I hear ya on the head-mount. This just isn't the right device for that type of vid, one-handed sledding is no fun and I tinkered with the idea of trying to mount this thing on my head but there's no way. I really need one of those Go-Pro Hero cams!

I agree Russ and when ever we want to take a snowmobile ride, we can just jump on and take a ride with Swizz. smiley-clapping.gif
