Hi, I'm a real newbie. In central Colorado (out of Denver) are there any public streams that someone can pan without joining any club, etc.? What about the Aspen area? What about rivers in National Forests? I now there are places you can go and pay a daily fee but my only issue is that an area like that might have been picked over of all gold. Any comments welcomed. Thanks.
