Didn't see a thread with people posting what songs meant a lot to them, so here's a few of mine.

Tracy Lawrence - If the Good Die Young
It's been true so far, but just in case...
Tracy Lawrence - If I Don't Make it Back

And one more, awesome song that never fails to do the trick, especially listening to it at midnight in the dark on vinyl. (Yes, I do have Boston on vinyl.)
Boston - More Than a Feeling
Denise
thumbsupsmileyanim.gif Boston rocks!! As you can see, I spread alot of music in the forum with personal feeling so It was hard for me to think of one I haven't posted yet. blush.gif Music has always played a big part in my life and always will. So mush music and so little time!

Here is one I really like and not only does it have personal meaning for me, but also tells alot about why we started this club.

Helping those learning (prospecting) how to hold the wheel and "Drive". happy112.gif

Awesome thread Brandon and If I don't get a chance to tell you before you leave.....Stay safe while you are gone and get home to your friends and family soon. smile.gif

Last night we had another blow to the metal community. Wayne Static of Static-X was found dead. He passed from a drug overdose. He was one of the pioneers of the industrial metal genre. I wanted to add a song to memorialize him.
"Push It".
(Metal, not for delicate ears)

Never heard em, but I like both of these from Mike. AND if you watch the video, there's a prospector at 1:14 of "Holidays"! Not sure what's up with the thing on his face though...

ZOIDBERG!

There is a strong resemblance. Maybe it's Zoidbergs ancestor.

I have two more for you. The first is one from my favorite band. The second is a comical song/video about one of my favorite foods in the whole world. Try to keep a strait face.

Grafton Primary - "When the Evolution Comes"

PNAU - "Wild Strawberries"
Caveman
Mike.... OH, MAN..... glad I wasn't on anything just then. GEEEEEEZUZ! Nightmares tonight!

What scared you, the strawberry or the Aussies? smiley-laughing021.gif
Caveman
Auzzies are way cool - loved the dive trip down under, but that's another story.... The damn strawberries... they didn't scare me, but my nightmares tend to be cartoony, and badly drawn at that! Thanx, buddy. unsure.gif
MikeS
Both bands are Australian so I guess the Aussies scared you either way.

Ah yes Auzzies. Thanks you for the correction.
Caveman
Not a correction - just the way that the Kiwi's on board the dive boat pronounced it! I just adopted that.... I like Kiwi's.

The ss in Aussie is considered an American misspelling. Your right it's Auzzie.
Caveman
Now I stand corrected... still going to have strawberry 'mares. smiley-shocked003.gif

Your is considered an American misspelling of you're.
Caveman
Ah, no.

Your - an item, idea, etc., belonging to you..... your hammer; your thesis; your mother, etc
you're - a form of be - you are........You're a member of Colorado Prospector.

Sorry - the grammer Nazi came out...... eating-popcorn-03.gif

Admittedly, I couldn't keep a straight face with the strawberries...CO wild strawberries were like gold in survival when we stumbled across them. Tiny, but delicious.

I bet you've got some cool stories of your travels Caveman; haven't been below the equator myself (a 'wog for you Navy types out there), so just 3 continents for me. Haven't met a Kiwi that wasn't very cool to talk with so far; Auzzies/Aussies either frankly.

Laughing at the grammar nazi-ism...yer both right.
Caveman
bleh.gif Ya got me! tomatoes.gif Turkey. smiley-laughing021.gif

Greeeaaaaat. Now I got one of the themes to "Schoolhouse Rock" going through my head, to go along with those "Wild Strawberries".
