ASTROBLEME
On November 8th, 2011, the Asteroid 2005YU55 will pass by the Earth at less than the distance to the moon. It is larger than anything passing since 1976 and is nearly ball shaped at 1,300 feet wide.

NASA thinks that it is a c-type or carbon based asteroid. If so, it may hold clues to carbon based life enabling materials like we find here on Earth.

It appears to be darker than charcoal, so you will need a telescope to view this "near hit" event.

i wonder if this will cause a tidal rise. if the moon can cause it, why not a fast moving Asteroid???
