I just got an Angus Mackirk AU Trap sluice. which I ran 3 buckets through it on Clear Creak Sunday, And it sure keeps fine gold , I panned out my concentrates today and there was a lot of microscopic gold in my pan smaller than 100 mesh, I still ended up with about a tenth of a gram, but it is still gold no matter how much you get, I am going to try again tomorrow but the Creak is a little to high to get to my good spot on the other side, so i will try and find another spot.

did you test pan/check your tailings from the sluice as it was running your material?
