Hello everyone. I've been visiting this site now for the last month and a half because I'm expecting to make it up to Colorado some time next fall. I've seen that some of you fellow miners go to Oregon to do some prospecting and I'm sure that you would want to know about a new bill that's being proposed thats going to directly effect you if you visit Oregon to do any mining. My hope is that even if you don't visit our state that you at least help us fight for our mining rights by calling our representatives and protest this bill as it will surly finish off an economy that's already in trouble.
I've never been politically active before, but this is just getting out of control. They've already killed mining in California and now it seems they have there eye set on Oregon. Thanks in advance for your help in hope that we can stop this before it even gets started.
