Talk about being in the dark, I feel like a mushroom. I was looking at Minelab to maybe purchase one in the near future but the prices are way out there and after reading these two articles, I think I'll pass.

Maybe making the electronics in Malaysia will bring down prices, its got to be expensive to manufacture in Ireland.
