NASA has announced that LCROSS discovered water at the bottom of crater Cabeus near the Moon's south pole.

Last months intentional crash impact has revealed water in the faint vapor ejected which was observed through the near-infared spectrometer onboard the LCROSS mothership.

I can see it now- 30 years from now NASA gets a moon station built and they drill into the lunar aquifer. Only to find out it's really the leach field for the matian lunar base on the dark side of the moon.....
There's NASA'a luck for ya! greensmilies-017.gif
