For all the astronomy nuts out there.........
"The biggest full Moon of the year is coming this weekend. It's a "perigee Moon" as much as 14% wider and 30% brighter than lesser Moons we'll see later in 2009."

i saw the moon last night but unfortunatly we are in for some overcast for the next few days. yep it was bright .

Yep Russ it sure is bright this weekend, hope ya' get the chance for a good view.

The comet Lulin will become brighter as we go into February too, keep your eyes open as this comes through everyone, might be worth watching. biggrin.gif

well it was overcast all day but this evening the clouds broke and the moon was shinning bright! then it was overcast again untill 5:00AM then it was clear and the moon was still shinning bright! the dog had to pee 2x so that gave me a chance to see the moon!
