Well Dan I do go back and read the older post. But its just not the same. Being that my work has become simi non existant, I have been coming in multiple times a day. Please pay no attention to my grumbling. I am just bored to distraction. Its all yours and Denises falt. If ya'll didn't have such magnetic personalitys. And the fact that what you've got going here is so interesting. But then...what would I do without it. OH MISERY! Your right Dan I should be happy with what I do have. And I am. Well Jimbo the only thing we can do is find a temp. chat......some people have been going to GPAA but not lately......there is DJ's Detectors and the chat looks more like being here at home (CP chat).......the only thing to do in these cases is to find alternatives.....temp. of course....once this chat reopens then we can get back to normal......i'm not trying to take away from this site......but seems like it's driveing Jimbo crazy so i guess the only thing we can do now is to find a solution to the problem until our chat becomes active again.........i am a GPAA member and the chat there is ok but it has some negatives........i think the only thing we can do as a group is to find a chat we can all agree on until this chat is active again........we all love this site and can still become a part of it but as far as a chat we need to find a solution but like i said.....i'm not trying to take away from this site......just trying to find a solution to the problem. I'm just trying to help....that's it.

awwww it'll be ok........aint no chat like here tho. i have been to gpaa some and even seen some of the (locals) there. its the d's i miss. i'll be ok......

i keep reading the chat room is up, but everytime i go to find it, I get its not up.

Chat room is working fine. Is there a possibility that you maybe need a java update or maybe a security setting on your computer is preventing entry?
Hard to say from our end but others have been getting in to chat.

Keep tryin', we'd love to have your participation there as well.

I stop in the morning and evening now and again when I can but rarely see anyone in there......WHAT'S UP FOLKS?!

We have it set for CP club members use only now. You can find the monthly password in your club members newsletter.

We will have special topic days when we have the room open for all to use though.

First off let me say sorry for not making it to the monthly meeting last Monday. I was all geared-up for it and then come Monday evening I was out repairing my fence and forgot all about it till Tuesday. So.... Sorry! I know that right now the volume is slow but that just means I get more of your time to myself. So I was wanting to make sure I did not miss the next meeting and was going to mark it on the calendar when I noticed that the 1st Monday of next Month falls on July 4th. Any chance you are looking at moving this one? If so hopefully this helps you get an early start.

Thanks for the heads up Woody! We changed the meeting date to the 11th of July, which falls on the second Monday of the month.
I'm also going to start adding the CP members meetings to the calendar.

So sorry I missed the Monthly Chat last night. I work with the military and on occasion my hours are not 9 to 5. Last night was such a night. I hope it was a productive meeting. I'll try to play "catch-up" and see if I can read about the chat. One thing I was hoping to discuss was trying to meet some of the other club members that live around my location. I was informed that there are several other members that live within 5 miles of me. Could be a good opportunity to network.

Yeah, I missed this one as well and had very much intended to take part as this was the last chat before my high country trip.

No worries guys, we can have another (meet up in chat) tonight if you want.

Don't forget that the chat room is always (24/7) open to CP club members. Club members can meet up in there anytime they wish.
If no one is there, you can hang out and wait while you browse around, or even e-mail other club member to meet up in there at a specified time.

We have club members from all over the country and our monthly meetings can be quite interesting. Personally I don't get to spend much time in the chat with my work schedules but the chat room is always open for club members to use/meet up and plan out their adventures or just chat anytime.

Chat room might be broken tonight. Can't get in.

Was working ok for me at 6 last night. New password for the month and don't forget that it is case sensative.

I tried to enter at about 6:15 last night and the java window wouldn't come up... so there was nowhere to enter a username or password.
I just checked it again... same problem. It's on the fritz, unless my adBlock program is blocking the java window? Try it.

ooops..... my bad.
I forgot that I had recently upgraded to Windows7 and didn't realize that I had to reinstall Java.
The chat room is opening fine for me now.

Ha! Yes, it definately loads and works better with Java.
