Last weekend my brother and me went Geocaching.......we have been Geocaching for probably about 5+ years now.....we both have the exact same GPS.....all you do is plug the coordinates into the GPS and fallow the GPS to the cache..then once you find it you can take something from the container but you have to leave something in it's place and sign the log book or you can leave and take nothing and just sign the log book.....kinda like a scavenger hunt.....it's fun for hikers and just being out haveing a good time with bro. wink.gif

Here is a link to the site to better understand how it all works

That sure looks like fun, thanks for the link. cool.gif

What did you pull and leave from it? Or did you just sign the book?

Today dad and i went to Larned to see grandma and grandpa Ross and i took my geocaching stuff along......first we hit a cache outside of Larned right by a historic sign and i found that cache...it was a mico cache in one of those lil metal keychain containers, only thing in it was a scroll like log rolled up in a lil vial...i was going to sign it but i would of had to write really small..lol..i did sign the log for it on the geocache website. For the 2nd cache we had to go back toward Larned and go right by the river, had to walk aways and look around in the forest alil but i found it and showed dad this cache.....lol. Dad took a pic with my phone (pic below)....seeings this was the first reg. cache with this new GPS i left a cool toy...i left a red flashing skull keychain (toy is in the pic above to the right of the camo bag and above the batteries) and i took a wooden nickel from this cache..i also logged this on the website too.....it was a fun day and got to try out the new GPS and it did a great job. happy088.gif
