Dear Dear Dave Kelsea, one of our most vocal MRT warriors:

My effort to be logical and reasoned obviously missed the mark.
I've withdrawn it, plain and simple.

All the best.

I didn't feel that any part of the post made was to berate anyone, I made that post to reflect on the lack of communication between clubs and letting the other guys start a fight and not get support and I tossed a few view points to ponder in the fray as well along the path of my post .

If you or any other clubs or members felt threatened or berated by the post, then you read it wrong. Go back and read it as it was posted not like a radical posting as some would envision it being.

I was only recently awakened to what is happening in oregon, I didn't know my head was in the sand and never knew that so much was in such sour shape. I'm awake now and looking for allies, not enemies....so where are the forces and where are the issues that they are focused on and why do they not ask for a combined effort?. Communicating on issues in Oregon is lacking at best, I'm positive others in this nation are having a mediocre situation as well.

I actually commend and think highly of others that have stood before when I wasn't even thinking of things like this could be possible. Many of those groups within Oregon are where now?, How and why are there not monthly gatherings of points of focus with other clubs?....

I have ideas to change that, does anyone else have anything to work with? or will I be riduculed for coming up with ideas that could work.

You let me know.

Some dirt to hold against Redpaw for accoutabilty issues:

He was invited to come forward and be a speaker in front of a club just 2 hours away from him and he refused.....His reasoning " I'm not a public speaker"

He let the Snowy Plover issue go without following it up....His reasoning " I can't afford to keep up with issues that drain me financially"

He lacks money to become a bigger more powerful fighter for mining within his state......he replies with " I'm a one legged man in a ass kicking contest and I'm without any money right now, I've lost the truck, sold my possessions and want desperately to go back to work"

He doesn't belong to our club, so why should we care what he says...He comments " I have been honored with a few memberships to a few clubs by people who have bought me those memberships such as PLP, Bedrock and Resources Coalitio alond with Blue Ribbon Coalition and I'd belong to each and every one if I couldf just afford it"

I think we should just silence this Redpaw guy and hold his failures above his head until he shows more actions and less words.

I'll go get a rope to tie his hands behind his back.....he's way too vocal for a piss poor bastard with no resources.

i personally applaud dave for his actions and his intent! dave has done a lot to help others! and in daves finnacial position/sacrifices, he has gone to great lengths to assist others , and to protect and preserve the rights of others. yes, this has been tried before. they have us jumping hurdels and will continue to do so! now is the time for us all to unite together, bury the hatchet, put aside past differances and go together united in a strong front to stop this abuse of power that the forest service , blm, epa, coe, greenies, and the envirowacos and others are trying to pull off! people can dissagree all they want if they can come to a consensis and get a good resolution that will benifit all. we are in this together, weither we like it or not!!we work better united than we do seperatly!

Oooohhhhh, I found more dirt to make him hang his head in shame....

I know for a fact that Geno sent him some money to help get by back in March, and this Redpaw guy can't even afford to pay him back right now.....what a loser !!

Geno's in need of help and Redpaw can't do a thing to give money back.....That should be a permanent banning from all internet.

Bad Redpaw Bad !!

Let's see if we can dig enough dirt to make redpaw lose his job as a Mod next !!!.

He's Guilty.....send verbal lashings now !!

Russ is correct we should be coming together on issues. All the beckering will get us no where. Dave has done a lot for several. And he will keep doing no matter what. We need help with ideas not negetive accuations true or false. If anyone else would like to pickup the ball and run through lines step up. We all have our faults I got mine and you have yours. If your up to the task at hand lets here it. If not than help us. Don't seperate unite and speak with one voice. I hate quotes but was'nt said once devide and conquor. Think miners think. jmann

The new servers that hold the MRT domain have 400 email accounts for use and a buttload of Bandwidth usage to smoke up every month.

I'm not sure yet how to implement them...but here's a " jist " of an idea:

Divide the country into Regions ( The USA ) for contact info.

Northwest ( The Wet and Mossy states )
Southwest ( The Golden Boys )
Midwest ( Yellow Brick Road Boys )
Southern Central ( Lost Dutchman Boys )
Northern Central ( Rushmore men )
South East ( Florida Divers )
Mideast ( Them Georgia Boys )
North East ( Upstate Troopers )

Give each club the potential to use a 19.00 Webcam and a MRT email address to converse with other regional clubs for issues at hand.

Video Conferencing for Miners

Some of the benefits:
If you lived in Missouri for example and wanted to come to California to do a little mining...you could:
Click Southwest Region
Click California
Click Club in Area your going
Converse with a live club member and/or Video, ask questions, get info, expected conditions, Dealers Nearby...etc.......

Other benefits:
Talk live to your local neighboring states about issues and problems and share resources.
See and meet others from your own state and others that share the Outdoors

Hold a Monthly Video conference with clubs from your state and elsewhere.

Hold a meeting Live on the Internet for Club members who could not attend your meeting but instead could watch and listen and participate LIVE instead of being there.

This whole idea is to UNITE and bring together Mining Clubs from regional areas and get them to interact and keep up on the issues.

It would work. It could be done. I could do it. Why can't we all?

But what the hell do I know about uniting Miners, I'm just a piss poor bastard who is a radical with dreamy ideas. ( Falls off cloud and slams back to earth )

Hey all,
Problem?!? We ain't got no problem.............with Dave, or other clubs, or other forums, or people in Eastern Oregon, or people in Southern Oregon, or those poor folks up in Washington, or with Megan,
heck, we don't have a problem with anybody but Greens and the Politicians they have bought!!

Dave is the catch-dog of the MRT. You know, the one you send in to bite the bear or wild boar in the butt. He never saw a fight he didn't want in on. We need some more of that in the mining/ outdoor users scene! But we can't all be James Bond, we need some John Waynes and even some Science Guys! We need all different types of men and women to bring their unique abilities to bear for the fight to keep our right to prospect and mine the public lands.

Don't get down on Dave for doing, seeing, and stating things from that mean ol' pitbull perspective, it is his speciality! Just holler at him if he gets too growly, but also ask yourself......................am I as on fire for this fight as he is? Use your talents and gifts, but please remember, we all are a TEAM and pitchers can't hit well, and catchers aren't expected to steal bases, but if the whole team does its job they ALL WIN!!!!!

The MRT will have other things going on this fall, contact us if you want in.......................I guarantee,
you ain't seen nothin' yet!!!!!! QJ ;)
