I heard on the news last night that the International Space Station will be visible for a short time each evening for a while this week. I saw this several years ago, kind of neat. Check the internet for local viewing times near your location.

Thanks Woody!
I also watched it cruise by a few years ago, something you never forget. I'll see if I can catch it again.
Looks like it's visible in Colorado from Oct 9-24: http://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightings/view.cfm?country=United_States&region=Colorado&city=Denver#.UlaZhRAlh20
