Hi Russ,
Thank you for considering the Colorado Prospector club as one you might possibly join. We would all be honored to have your future participation in the club. Yes there are quite a few of the researched areas that have water access and I would say are dredgable (long arm or dive) in my view........but The club doesn't dictate what equipment is used at any of the researched areas, being these researched areas are BLM or FS administered lands, then the 1872 mining law applies to any bonafide prospector/miner exploring for mineral and gem deposits within those lands. You as the prospector/miner have to make the call as to what equipment best suits your needs for the situation at that time and place to sample and process those samples you are attempting to test. You'll also have to make the call on each area as per elevation and grades/steepness for some of the tougher spots. You'll be able to easily see this from the color topo's provided of each area with it's marked spot including gps cords and driving directions provided. -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator

You're welcome Russ, glad to answer questions anytime, let us know if you have any more too.
Seems like this thread fits well in the ColoradoProspector.com forum section so I've gone ahead and moved it out of off topic into that forum section. -------------------- CP-Owner/Administrator

We get this question a lot still so I thought I would bump it back up for others to learn from. Great info Dan! -------------------- Education is the key to the future,
