Phew...
Nope I will stick with a 2 Inch thick soft Fillet steak BBQ'd on the old coals with garlic and lemon butter dripped on it while I take the meat just to the right medium Rare spot where all meat should be....
Place it down softly on a plate crack the Softly cooked potato open and put some real homemade proper salty butter in to melt gently over the top.
Crack a Beer and get busy.......
LOL

Here is a great way to beat the summer heat.

We decided to maximize our efforts during the night this weekend mainly because the daytime temperatures were well into the 90’s. We were camping at a lake and had a good idea for something to do instead of just sitting around waiting for the bells to start ringing.

That plate looks pretty yummy Diamond Digger! Looks like someone was already drooling over it next to the plate. laugh.gif
Is the cheese homemade or just homemade melted?

Very cool video Woody! Looks like that homemade unit works great! I hear you about these high temps. wacko.gif

Mrs CP The cheese was home made by a women that used to come around to the Pub and sell it to us, verrrryyy nice! The beef recipe is:

2 kilos of top side mince,
One table spoon of Tomato Puree
One tablespoon of English mustard powder (Yellow strong one)
One teaspoon salt
One teaspoon pepper
One teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 a cup of flour
Half a cup of finely chopped white onion.
Mix it all together till you cannot see any of the yellow or white powders.
Take about a quarter of the mixture and press it flat to about 1 inch thick on a wooden plate then use a tea cup saucer plate to put on top of the meat and cut around it to make a Putty, place the cut out burger on a piece of wax paper cut in strips so you can put the others in line with wax paper on top to make a few layers of the meat. You can then either freeze them or use immediately...
Takes about 30 minutes to make.
Very very nice!
Hope you enjoy it!
Field camp fire cooking is my specialty lol!

Here is a link to a video I made. It is an interesting alternative method of gathering food. It could come in handy if you are in a new area and need to
know what foods to eat.
