Hi everyone,

We thought it was time to start up a thread just for the club members benefits and have a place to announce/discuss new club benefits added, like the new one announced in this months newsletter.
So here is a list of club member benefits everyone gets when joining up starting with the most important one....

As a club member you can learn about bonafide prospecting as well as your rights to prospect & develop the mineral deposits within (Y)OUR lands! 19 states have lands where we as citizens can file mining claims. Mining begins with proper land research, prospecting, and claim staking/filing.

*Free links for club members websites (with approval) on the prospecting links page

And the newest benefit for club members is the club referal program just announced on the 1st! Now you can make a few buck$ everytime you recommend the Colorado Prospector club to someone and they sign up using your special code!

I just want to comment about this particular benefit and I'll get off the pulpit... this was the deal-maker for me when I first joined. They helped me a lot through the staking and filing when I was really green to the process. I didn't even know Dan or Denise then... and frankly, Dan was kinda scarey (in a Sasquatch sort of way). Actually he was very concise and accurate with all of his advice regarding the legalities, and everything else when I was staking and filing (ok... and friendly to-boot ). I was flooding him with questions at certain points. I got it done, and I got it done pretty fast when I really needed to. The stuff sticks with you like a college class that you really liked (although this was the only one I really liked). I consider D&D good friends by now and have made many other good friends here. Moved a lot of dirt with some mighty fine people here a buncha times... wind up exchanging ideas and sharing processes in the field. Like a statewide network of mobile mini consultants. Grasshopper has learned much.
The consultation through the process was really a nice benefit when I needed it. I think Woody could attest to this as well when he staked. Club members have also helped both Woody and me through the annual technicalities here and there, forms, etc. Nice to know if my t's are crossed and the i's are dotted at certain junctures of Claim Ownership. I don't know where else a "Consultant" of that nature can be found, let alone... what they would charge? Multi-faceted benefit considering the (consulting) help I've gotten from other Club Members here as well. Rock on.

You're welcome Wolfgang. We have also added card templates we created for members to print off and pass out in the field with their info (Name, e-mail etc.).
Great for keeping in contact with someone you may have just met out prospecting.

Thank you Swizz for the kind words and I'm very glad you no longer find me "kinda scarey in a Sasquatch sort of way" ...... must of been during a longer beard period.

Carl, um that would be Mrs. Sasquatch to you then? Wait till' next time she see's you!

Welp, I took the poll... sorry - Let me feel like a member this one time. And agreeing with Swizz, that's really my current short term goal - learn how to properly set up a claim. Maybe I can apply this winter when I'll have some extra cash laying around (not camping, every gawd damn weekend - side note, camping = hounding)

Voted in the poll... but have to say, my favorite benefit of Colorado Prospector is FREE! That would be the awesome friends I've made!

But the club member benefits are literally worth their weight in gold too!
