I have a bunch of rocks and need help identifying..pretty sure this is opal but not sure what all the honey color is

There is not much I can tell from the picture but there are some home tests that can help confirm if it is opal or help identify it if it's something else.

Scratch Tests Opal hardness Mohs Scale= 5.5 to 6
Streak Tests Opal streak= white
Specific Gravity Test Opal Specific gravity= 2 to 2.25

These tests can help with your other rocks also. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
